Chili Bowls
16 ozs frozen bread dough
2 Tbsp butter, melted
3 cups favorite chili
1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup onions, chopped
Garlic powder & Parmesan cheese
Thaw the bread dough until it is pliable
Cut the dough crosswise into 4 pieces
With lightly floured h&s, shape each dough piece into a ball
Place balls 3 inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet
Brush balls with melted butter
Let bowls rise in a warm place until tripled in size
Bake at 375 deg F for 20 to 25 min until golden brown
Remove from cookie sheet immediately & allow to cool on rack
To make chili bowls, slice off tops of loaves & hollow by pinching bread out with fingers
Brush cut side of tops with melted butter & sprinkle with garlic powder & Parmesan cheese
Toast bowls & tops by placing in the oven or under the broiler
Fill with hot chili & top with grated cheese & onions
Serves 4
NOTE: for smaller bowls, cut dough into 6 pieces
Mango Salsa Recipe
Mango Salsa
1 large ripe fragrant mango
2 tablespoons each red & yellow bell peppers, finely diced
1 tablespoon minced Serrano chiles
1 tablespoon minced cilantro
Juice of 1 ripe Mexican lime
Peel the mango & cut the flesh away from the seed
Chop finely, & mix with the remaining ingredients, adding a few drops of lime juice to temper the sweetness of the mango

Cheese and Honey Pie
Sesame Seed Pastry
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Prepare Sesame Seed Pastry
Beat cream cheese in large mixer bowl on medium speed until creamy
Add remaining ingredients; beat until light and fluffy
Pour into baked pie shell
Bake at 350 degrees F until firm, 40 to 50 minutes
Refrigerate until serving time
Yields 10 to 12 servings
Sesame Seed Pastry
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seed
1/4 teaspoon salt
Mix all ingredients until blended; press firmly and evenly against bottom and side of 9-inch pie plate
Bake at 475 degrees F for 5 minutes
