Grilled Pork Chops Yucatan

6 pork chops
Sour orange juice or grapefruit juice to cover chops
1/2 tsp pepper
2 cloves garlic crushed with 1 tsp salt
Vegetable oil
6 sprigs cilantro, minced

Mix juice, pepper & garlic salt
Soak pork chops for at least 2 hrs

Preheat oven to 450 deg F

Drain chops & dry with paper towels
Brush with vegetable oil & broil for 10 min on each side, about 4 inches from the broiler

Remove chops to a serving dish
Garnish with cilantro

Strawberry Salsa

2 1/2 cups finely chopped fresh strawberries
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 Tbsp chopped scallion
2 Tbsp minced fresh parsley
1/2 cup Catalina salad dressing
Dash of hot pepper sauce
Pepper, to taste
Tortilla chips

In a bowl combine strawberries, green pepper, scallion & parsley
Stir in salad dressing, hot pepper sauce & pepper
Cover & refrigerate for 2 hrs

Serve with tortilla chips

Yields 3 cups
