Orange-Honey Chicken Stir Fry

2 Tbsppeanut oil
1 slice ginger root
1 pound chicken breast (thin strips)
1/2 orange (thin half slices)
Sauce
2 Tbspcornstarch
3/4 tablespoon dry mustard
2 Tbspsoy sauce
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup orange Juice
Garnish
4 green onions (chopped)
Combine the sauce ingredients, set aside
Heat wok or skillet & add peanut oil
Fry ginger root slice to season oil (30 seconds)
Remove ginger root
Add chicken & stir-fry 2 to 3 min until tender
Add sauce & stir until it begins to thicken
Add orange slices; mix well
Remove to serving dish & garnish with green onions
Serve with rice or rice noodles

1/3 cup vinegar
2/3 cup soy sauce
Few drops sesame oil
4 cloves garlic, mashed
Hot chili sauce, to taste
Put all the ingredients into a bowl & mix well
Rice, Milan Style
Rice, Milan Style (Risotto alla Milanese)
1 cup uncooked regular rice
1 small onion, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped beef marrow (optional)
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cups water
2 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon
1/4 teaspoon slat
Dash of ground saffron
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Cook and stir rice, onion and beef marrow (if used) in butter in 2-quart saucepan until rice is golden, 4 to 5 minutes
Stir in remaining ingredients except cheese
Heat to boiling, stirring once or twice; reduce heat
Cover and simmer 14 minutes without lifting cover or stirring
Remove from heat
Gently stir in cheese with fork; cover and let steam 5 to 10 minutes
Serve rice with additional Parmesan cheese if desired
Yields 6 servings
